1. Purpose of the Website

The Woodlands United Foundation website serves to:

• Provide information about conservation programs, youth education, community events, and volunteer opportunities

• Accept donations

• Sell merchandise to support our mission

Because many items are produced for fundraising:

• Refunds must be requested within 14 days of delivery

4. Event Registration & Ticket Sales

4.2 Ticket Sales

Tickets may be limited and sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Payments must be made in full at the time of purchase.

4.3 Cancellations & Credits

If the Foundation cancels an event, we may offer:

• A donation receipt in lieu of refund

If a participant cancels, refunds are not guaranteed.

4.4 Limited Entry Events

Certain events (especially firearm raffles or adult programs) may require:

• Residency restrictions

The Foundation reserves the right to deny participation for safety or compliance reasons.

5. Volunteer Portal & Volunteer Participation

Volunteers are essential to our mission. By registering as a volunteer, you agree to:

We reserve the right to require background checks for roles involving:

• Sensitive populations

• High-safety activities

5.3 Code of Conduct

Volunteers must:

• Avoid disruptive, unsafe, or harmful behavior

• Follow all instructions from supervisors

5.4 Assumption of Risk

Volunteer activities — especially outdoor work — involve inherent risks.
Volunteers may be required to sign a Volunteer Waiver & Release of Liability before participating.

6. Youth Program Participation

Woodlands United Foundation supports youth conservation and educational activities. For minors (under 18):

6.1 Parental or Guardian Consent Required

No minor may register without the express consent of a parent or legal guardian.

6.2 Youth Conduct & Safety

Participants must:

• Follow instructions from staff and volunteers

• Behave respectfully toward peers and wildlife

• Stay within designated boundaries during outdoor activities

• Use equipment safely

6.3 Photograph & Media Use

Parents/guardians may be asked to approve:

• Photos

• Videos

• Social media content

Images will never be used to exploit or endanger any child.

6.4 Medical Needs

Parents/guardians are responsible for:

• Notifying staff of allergies or medical conditions

• Providing necessary medications or emergency plans

6.5 Transportation

Unless explicitly stated, transportation to and from events is not provided by the Foundation.

7. Donations & Financial Transactions

When donating through our Site, you confirm that:

• All donations are voluntary and non-refundable unless required by law

• You may request anonymity, which we will honor
